These failures in the check logo logs are acceptable. Our Digital signature group only signed the DID and VID and the INF included SSVID and SDID, which didn't get signed by mistake which is causing these failures. Document this in your README as a test kit issue and use this e-mail as verification. You can use this e-mail with any failures in the check logo test related to the 815 and 850 chipsets.

I wrote the errata #91 contingencies and there being reviewed by WHQL core and should be approved later today. I'll keep you updated.

Subject: Acquire Waiver Letter for Logo Component Test Issue with Intel 815 and 850 Series Chipset

  Dear Mark:

Currently, after we run Logo Component Test on HCT V9.502 and HCT V9.6 (For WinME) with the system that used Intel 815 or Intel 850 chipset, there will failed the test, and the failed items are ALL relative to core chipset issue that does not have SVID and SSID on it.

Today I just received the message from our OEM customer about their contact with you with the Logo Component Test issue with Intel 850 chipset.

Would you like to provide us the information or waiver letter that deal with this issue to us for Microsoft Certification?
Because we currently have 2 or 3 system that equiped with Intel 815 or 850 chipset, waiting for the aggrement between ASUS and WHQL .

  Best Regard
