Release Notes

GCC LPR Utility Ver. 1.2 3/99

These notes are applicable to the LPR Utility for GCC Printers.

There are no revisions to the user guide at this time.

The following points may assist you in installation and troubleshooting.

1.	If your Windows test page (or other pages) report a PostScript error,
you probably have not selected Pure binary data in the Printer Properties
-> PostScript -> Advanced dialog box. Turn off 'Print Post Script Errors'

2.	If you do not supply an IP address when you install the utility, you will need to add the port in Printer Properties -> Details -> Add Port -> Other.

3.	You must reboot after installing the utility or deinstalling an older version.
Remember to remove any floppy disks from their drives.

4.	Do not install this utility on Windows NT systems. LPR is already available
        within NT.
