Install.txt Driver File Contents (M3JPEG.EXE)

Morgan Multimedia MJPEG 32-bits codec install :

1 - Right-Click on OEMSETUP.INF file in the ...\M3JPEG\Win9x directoy
2 - Choose Install

OR

1 - Click on 'Start', 'Settings', 'Control panel'
2 - Doubleclick on 'Add new hardware'
3 - Select 'No' not to search for new hardware then click 'Next'
4 - Select 'Sound, video, and game controllers' then click 'Next'
5 - Click on 'Have disk'
6 - Click 'Browse...' then select the ...\M3JPEG\Win9x directoy containing oemsetup.inf
7 - Click 'OK', 'OK', 'OK'
8 - Click on 'Finish'
9 - You DO NOT have to restart your computer, but you can if you experience problems.

Codec is installed !

Morgan Multimedia MJPEG 32-bits codec un-install :

1 - Click on 'Start', 'Settings', 'Control panel'
2 - Doubleclick on 'Multimedia'
3 - Select 'Advanced' tab
4 - Doubleclick on 'Video Compression Codecs'
5 - Doubleclick on 'Morgan Multimedia MJPEG 32-bits codec'
6 - Click on 'Remove' then on 'OK'

Codec is un-installed !


Matrox Rainbow Runner support :

Edit the SYSTEM.INI file in the Windows directory.

In the [drivers32] section add the line :

vidc.dmb1=m3jpeg32.dll

NOTE : To uninstall, you can remove this line.

WARNING !!!
If you have a Matrox Rainbow Runner card in this machine.
add a ; before the line
vidc.dmb1=C:\PROGRA~1\MATROX~1\RAINBO~1\RRIcm.dll
WARNING !!!


AVI files created from QuickTime 'jpeg' files :

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
