Release Notes
-----------------
This is release 2.01 of the Diamond Update Wizard version 2.0.1.0


After installation you can run the program by selecting 
Start Menu\Programs\Diamond\Update Wizard\Diamond Update Wizard.

Please note that the Update Wizard application must be closed before
running uninstall.


Important: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
------------------
1) Internet access is required when using the Update Wizard.
   A) Activate your connection to the internet and then run the Wizard.
   B) AOL USERS: Start AOL, sign-on, and then run the Wizard.

2) The Update Wizard is supported under Windows 9x, NT4 and Windows 2000.

3) Windows9x:
   Internet Explorer 3.0 or greater must be installed.

4) NT4:
   A) NT4 Service Pack 3 or greater must be installed.
   B) Internet Explorer 4.0 with IE Service Pack 1 or greater must be
      installed.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
