INSTALL.TXT
===========
1. SYSTEM SPECIFIC INSTALLATION
===============================
1.1. Windows 95/98
------------------
For the system specific installation in Windows 95/98 right-click file
named "setup_9X.inf" from the Windows Explorer and select "Install".
Files "tvicport.vxd", "TVicPort.dll" and "TVicPort.ocx" will be copied
to \<WINDOWS>\SYSTEM\ directory. No any other steps required.
1.2. Windows NT or Windows 2000
-------------------------------
The system specific installation in Windows NT 4.0 or 5.0 is more difficult.
At first, YOU MUST BE LOGGED ON AS AN ADMINSTRATOR TO INSTALL!
Right-click file named "setup_NT.inf" from the Windows Explorer and
select "Install". Files named "TVicPort.dll" and "TVicPort.ocx" will be
copied to \<WINNT>\SYSTEM\ directory. File "tvicport.sys" will be copied
to \<WINNT>\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ directory. Also this process places several
keys in the registry which allow the driver to run normally.
Reboot your PC after installation.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
