1.      Disk contents

        On this disk you will find the latest ELSA ECOMO
        Monitor INF-file for Windows 95/98.

2.      Software installation

2.1     Driver installation "ECOMO.INF" for Windows 95

        Choose 'Display Properties', select 'Settings'. Now choose
        'Change configuration'. Under 'Monitor' you will find the
        current monitor. Select 'Change' and then 'Have Disk'. Type
        in the path to the volume in which the ELSA disc is located,
        change to the directory \drivers\ and aply the selected file
        "ECOMO.INF" by cliking on 'OK'. Select your monitor from the
        list. After clik on the 'OK'-field the driver will be installed.
  
2.2     Software installation under Windows 98

        Choose 'Display Properties', select 'Settings'. Now choose
        'Advanced Options'. Under 'Monitor' you will find the
        current monitor. Select 'Change' to start the hardware Assistant
        choose the button 'Next'. Select the "list of drivers" and proceed
        with 'Next'. Now klick on 'Have Disk' and type in the path to 
        the volume where the ELSA disc is located. Change to the directory
        \drivers\ and open the list with the 'OK' button. Select your 
        monitor from the list. After hitting 'OK' the driver will be
        installed. Leave the Hardware Assistant by choosing the next
        button
        and the properties of display by clik on 'OK'.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
