Date: 03-12-99 SMC 9432 PCI Ethernet Driver Ver 1.05 For Mac System 8.5 --------------------------------------------------- This Installation program SMCInstallScript should be run (double-click) to install the following driver on your system: 1. SMC EtherPower II 10/100 (TX) 2. SMC EtherPower II 10/100 (BTX) 3. SMC EtherPower II 10/100 (TXMP) The drivers are present in the file "9432 1.05" on the same diskette. PLEASE DE-INSTALL ANY PREVIOUS VERSION OF THE 9432 DRIVER USING THE INSTALLATION PROGRAM PROVIDED BY THAT VERSION - DO NOT USE THIS VERSION TO UNINSTALL A PREVIOUS VERSION !!!!!!! Note: The Volume Label of your diskette should be 'SMC Drivers' for the installation program to work !! And ensure that the Installer program is also present on your diskette !! The Auto Detection Code has been added, thus both 10 Mbs and 100 Mbs lines can be used without any change to the driver. Note: make sure you reboot the system whenever you change the line speed since the driver cannot dynamically detect change in the line speed. Infact PowerOff the system before you change the line speed. NOTE: These drivers will work ONLY with Ver 1.0.5b4 (or later) of the Open Transport Runtime Library OR higher. This software can be installed from the "GM DDK Quick CD Power Macintosh with PCI" CD. Use the "Installer" program residing in the ":Nitro/TNT/Catalyst GM: Open Transport:Open Transport Installer:" directory.Download Driver Pack
