The drivers you need are in the directories MSLANMAN.DOS and NDIS.
The NDIS 2 drivers contained in the following directories are
used with 3Com 3+Open, Microsoft OS/2 LAN Manager OEM distribution
release 1.x or 2.x, and other compatible OEM versions of LAN Manager.

The drivers named SMC1208 conform to the Network Driver
Interface Specification (NDIS) defined by Microsoft/3Com.

Included in the MSLANMAN.DOS and NDIS subdirectories are
the following files:

 VERIFYING HARDWARE INSTALLATION
 ===============================

 Under DOS, run the SETUP utility on the SMC Driver Diskette to verify
 the card installation and configuration.

 Follow the instructions for testing and verifying the configuration
 in your product manual.

 ====================
 DRIVER INSTALLATION
 ====================

 1. Create a directory on the computer; for example, on Drive C:

        mkdir \ndis

    Copy the NDIS 2.01 driver from the SMC Driver Diskette to that
    directory. For example:

        copy a:\ndis\dos\smc1208.dos c:\ndis

 2. Edit the PROTOCOL.INI file with a text editor. The PROTOCOL.INI
    file must include a section describing the LAN card and another section
    describing each of the network products that are operating. Binding
    statements must be created to identify the SMC NDIS 2.01 driver to
    the networking products' protocol modules. A sample excerpt from the
    PROTOCOL.INI file is:

          ; SMC LAN Adapter
          [smc1208]
            drivername = smc1208$

 3. Reboot the computer and execute NETBIND.EXE. This file is included
    with the networking product software. NETBIND.EXE must be run each
    time the computer is booted; therefore, SMC recommends that NETBIND.EXE
    be added to the AUTOEXEC.BAT file.
