All rights reserved. ----------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------- The driver and its support files for NT MS Client are as follows: File Name Description NETFLX3.DOS NDIS 2 driver for Windows NT DOS client OEMSETUP.INF Driver installation file Before installing: - Locate the Windows NT installation media (CD-ROM or diskettes). - Make a copy of the Compaq driver diskette; store the original and install from the copy. Installing the driver: 1. Insert the Windows NT installation media and start the SETUP program: - If you have the installation CD-ROM, change to the CLIENTS directory and type SETUP (such as "D:\CLIENTS\SETUP"). - If you have the installation diskettes, insert Disk 1, enter the correct drive letter, and type SETUP (such as "A:\SETUP"). 2. When the welcome screen displays, press <Enter>. 3. When prompted to specify where the files will be placed on the workstation, enter the path and press <Enter>. 4. When prompted to select an adapter, choose Network adapter not shown on list below and press <Enter>. 5. When prompted to specify the location of the driver, insert Compaq diskette #1, enter the path A:, and press <Enter>. 6. When prompted to select an adapter from the list, choose your Compaq controller and press <Enter>. 7. When prompted, provide a User Name and press <Enter>. 8. The next screen shows the name and setup options selected for the controller. Choose Modify your adapter and protocols with this option and press <Enter>. 9. The next screen prompts you for the protocol to use on your network. Choose the correct protocol(s) and press <Enter>. 10. Review the protocol options that you chose for your adapter. If correct, choose Network configuration is correct and press <Enter>. 11. The installation is complete. Reboot the workstation to put the changes into effect.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
