Readme for TCPServer2 example program 1. Overview The example programs explain you how to write a simple TCP Server program to communicate with PC. The examples uses standard BSD Sockets. 2. The Hardware connection is following: Termianl ---(RS-232)[Moxa embedded computer]--- ~~LAN~~ ---PC Host Example ( Windows platgorm) 3. Files Directory: example\TCPServer2 tcps2.c -TCP Client program for Moxa embedded computer using standard BSD Sockets APIs tcpsp.c -TCP Clint program for Moxa embedded computer series using standard BSD Sockets APIs TCPClient2_PC\VC\Release\tcpclient.exe - TCP Client program running in Windows98/2000/XP. - Visual Basic version is also available in ..\VB 4. How to use the example program 4.1 Run TCP client program from a networked PC and ready to get data from the Moxa embedded computer or send data to the Moxa embedded computer. 4.2 Run serial terminal program from a networked PC and ready to get serial data from the Moxa embedded computer or send serial data to the Moxa embedded computer. 4.3 Download tcps2-release, tcps2-debug, tcpsp-release or tcpsp-debug to the Moxa embedded computer. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
