About RXDIAG.EXE
=================
    This program is provided to test the RL100TX PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter
    in a IBM PC Compatible machine.


Contents of RXDIAG.EXE

This menu will appear when RXDIAG is run.

Select Diagnostic to test the card.


Network Test
============
To do the network test you need 2 PCs each installed with a RL100TX adapter.
Connect the cable either back-to-back using a cross UTP cable or connect both
PC to a hub using a nornal UTP cable.
On each PC run Diagnostic option above first.
After the card passed the Diagnostic test above, the Ping-Pong mode appears.
Press F3 to select it. The Master and Slave mode selection appears.
On one PC select Master mode on another PC select Slave mode.
To start the transmit and receive test press Space-Bar on the PC running
as Master mode.
To quit the test press ESC key.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
