[Driver Model]: FM + 3D SRS sound. [Subject]: Magic MP56 3D Plug and Play Audio+Modem card setup driver version R1.3 - D75 for windows 95. (Audio Driver is based on Crystal ver 2.01 driver .) (Modem Driver is based on Rockwell Semiconductor driver K56.(DL)) [Install]: Install the card driver for Win'95 . (a) Removing all sound card driver first if you have installed any sound card drivers before : If you have installed the the driver or any other sound card driver , please uninstall these sound card driver before install the new card's driver. Please follow the [Unistall] section for detailed instruction . ** And before you proceed with the card installation, you must disable the COM port that you want to use for the modem in the BIOS setup. For detailed information on BIOS, refer to the user's guide that comes with your system board. (b) Insert card , then power on the machine : After inserting the card to your machine , then power on your machine . (c) Insert the driver setup disk : Because the card's Plug and Play property , windows 95 will auto detect the card . During installation ,you will see some pictures below : (1) Windows 95 will auto create the information for card . (2) You will see a picture for three choices . And the default is setting to " Driver from disk provided by hardware manufacture " . *(3) Click "OK" . Then you'll see another picture asking you to insert the card setup disk. *(4) Please insert the setup disk or browsing the path where the file "install.inf" is . ( e.g. A:\ ) *(5) Click "OK" . (6) Then win95 will copy files from the source disk . And the system will auto detect 5 audio device: "Magic MP56 3D Audio System CODEC" "Magic MP56 CD-ROM (No Install)" "Magic MP56 3D Audio System Joystick" "Magic MP56 3D Audio System Control Registers" "Magic MP56 3D Audio System MPU-401 Compatible" ,and it'll auto load and create the related driver and information . (d) After completing the Audio driver setup program , you will see Win95 setup driver's pictures again, follow the process of (c), the system will auto detect 1 Modem device. In the following screen appears with a list of available devices that you may install . (e) This CD-ROM has a Software Wave-Table model. In case you want to use YAMAHA software Wave-Table, refer to the README.TXT contained in the root path. -OR- You can also refer to the README file contained in the SoftWT directory for more information on the YAMAHA software Wave-Table. [Unistall]: (A)You can run the application by clicking "Start","Programs", "Magic MP56" ,"Uninstall". Or(B)Under the Audio Driver's Disk, you can find the "Rem_MP32.exe" program. You can run the program to uninstall the audio driver. Or(C)Open the "Control Panel" , "Add/Remove Programs" , Select "Uninstall Magic MP56 PnP Audio card . " , then select "Add/Remove" . Or(D)Under the \Windows path,you can find "Rem_MP32.inf" ,right click the mouse button on the file . Then select "Install" to uninstall the Audio+Modem card driver. [Tips for Install]: (A) MS_DOS volume control : You can run file "cwbmix.exe" for open the DOS Mixer volume control . [Music Center]: After installed the audio card , we also setup a music software application . You can run the application by clicking "Start","Programs", "Magic MP56" , "Music Center" . About the detailed help , please see the "Help" from "Music Center" . [Trouble Shooting]: If you insert our combo card to the mainboard,and setup the Windows'95 O.S. After the Win'95 been build up,the Win'95 may install the "Sound Blaster" driver as the audio driver. So,you should run the "Rem_MP32.exe" in our Audio driver disk. It will remove the Sound Blaster driver first, then restart the computer. The Win'95 will auto detect our audio card, and you can insert our driver and begin to install the correct audio driver.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
