The OpenGL ICD driver is in its alpha stage and is included in the CD to provide users the opportunity to play OpenGL only games. The following games have been tested 1) Quake II v3.14 or higher 2) GL Quake 3) Heretic II 4) Sin 5) Hexen II 6) OpenGL App - ViewPerf 6.1 Known Limitations 1) Greater than 640x480 resolution may cause system hangs 2) Unreal and Half Life OpenGL performance is slower than the D3D counterpart 3) Not Optimized for AMD 3DNow Please report all issues to opengl@tridmicr.com (place holder) Although all issues will be logged, we can not personally answer individual emails. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
