     Thank you for purchasing the Xircom Pocket Ethernet Print Server.  
     The Xircom Pocket Print Server is now manufactured and supported 
     by Pacific Data Products, Inc. of San Diego, CA. Note our Sales and 
     Support numbers at the bottom of this file.

     We have made a significant effort in the last several months to 
     prepare both ourselves and the Xircom product to ensure that this 
     Pocket Ethernet Print Server will meet your needs in printing 
     compatibility and product performance. As a company, we are committed

     concerns of you, our customer.

     NOTE:  This PSETUP utility is designed to work with the PEPS1-10BT, 
     PEPS1-10B2 and PEPS2 models.  It is not intended to be used with the PEPS-10BT 
     and PEPS-10B2 models.      

     ENHANCEMENTS
     ============
     Supports four Ethernet frame types: 802.2, 802.3, Ethernet II and
     Ethernet SNAP.  

     Supports IP Addresses correctly.

     Improved communication with PSETUP program. 

     CURRENT LIMITATION
     ==================
     1. Novell NetWare 4.x is currently supported in Bindery Emulation mode 
     only.
	 
     2. PSETUP for PEPS2 (LANMAN) requires that you configure your 
     workstation to route NetBIOS function calls through the NetBEUI 
     protocol stack.
     
     MANUAL AMENDMENTS
     =================
     1. The PSETUP NAME NA=<print_server_name> command is no longer supported.
     If you wish to rename a print server, please use the PSETUP - Define
     Print Server option.

     a facsimile to the one to the Tech Support  numbers listed below.  
     Access the PDP BBS at up to 9600 bps, No parity, 8 data bits, 1 stop 
     bit (N-8-1). Use ANSI or TTY for your terminal emulation as the PDP 
     BBS does not support DEC VT-type terminal emulations.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
