Win95 driver Installation for Sound Card
=========================================
1. Start the Windows 95 program. Click on the <Start> button on the bottom
taskbar, select <Setting> from the menu and click on the <Control Panel>
selection.
2. Select <Add New Hardware> under Control Panel menu. Click on the <Next>
button and select <No> from "Add New Hardware" the screen and click on
the <Next> button again. Adjust the scroll bar to "Sound,video and game
Controllers" menu line and select it.
3. Click on the <Next> button, followed by the <Have Disk> button. You will
be prompted to insert Driver disk into A:\.
4. You should insert the sound card Audio Disk #1 into the Drive A: (B:)
and path it to \WIN95 directory drive to continue the installation of
the Windows 95 16-bit audio drivers. This will end the sound card drivers
installation.
5. To make use of the WaveTable/External MIDI devices and joystick port. You
should proceed to install the drivers for MPU-401 and joystick. To install
these drivers, repeat steps #1 to #2 and shift the scroll bar downward to
select "Microsoft" from the Manufactuers box. A list of drivers will now
be displayed in the "Models:" dialog box. Click on MPU401 & joystick one
at a time to complete the installation.
(Note: MPU-401 & joystick drivers can be found in your Win95 CD-ROM.)
6. Restart the Win95 session to effect the newly installed drivers.
7. If you encounter any conflict after installation, please refer to the
Trouble-shooting section in Win95 for further details.

L'utilitaire DoubleSpace de DOS 6.x risque de causer des problŠmes

disque compress‚. Dans DOSDAT ou WinDAT, le r‚sultat sera un message
d'erreur "Disque n'a pas pu faire face … l'audio digital ". Dans certains
cas le programme risque mˆme de s'arrˆter brusquement.
Vous pouver l'anticipez avant de jouer ou enregistrer un ensemble audio
digital st‚r‚o/44.1kHz/16-bit en cr‚ant une partition du lecteur non
compress‚e où vont figurer les deux fichiers DOSDAT et WinDAT afin de
pouvoir utiliser ce lecteur comme r‚pertoire Work et Temp.
Dans les deux programmes l'op‚ration se fait … partir de la fenˆtre Install.

compress‚e sur votre disque dur, cf. manuel d'utilisation DOS 6.x.
*La mˆme proc‚dure doit ˆtre respect‚e si vous utilisez Stacker, un
autre utilitaire de compression de disque.
Notes concernant l'utilisation d' EMM386.EXE

En ex‚cutant des applications avec EMM386.EXE install‚, les messages
d'erreur suivants risquent d'apparaŒtre :
"Le tampon DMA EMM386 est trop petit"
Il y a deux solutions possibles pour r‚soudre ce problŠme :
- retirez l'entr‚e EMM386.EXE du fichier CONFIG.SYS
ou
- ajoutez les paramŠtres suivants … la ligne EMM386.EXE dans votre
fichier CONFIG.SYS :
D=64
D sp‚cifie combien de kilobytes m‚moire doivent ˆtre
r‚serv‚s pour le tampon d'accŠs m‚moire directe (DMA).
Exemple :

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
