Citron Infrared Touch driver for Microsoft Windows XP and Windows 2000

Short installation guide:

To install the Citron Infrared Touch Driver for Microsoft Windows XP
and Windows 2000 (ctw2k) follow those few steps:

1) Create a directory named "ctw2k" on your hard drive.

2) Unzip the driver package (ctw2k<xxx>.zip) or copy the files directly
into that directory. The following files should be available now:

      Ctw2k.cpl                443 kB
      Ctw2k.inf                  3 kB
      Ctw2k.sys			45 kB
      readme.txt                 2 kB
      Setup.exe                177 kB


3) Connect the touch to the serial port of the PC and switch on the
   power supply of the touch.

4) Execute the program Setup.exe and select the serial port the
Touch is connected to.

5) Confirm dialog settings. After installation you are asked to
reboot the computer. When system is up again touch shall work
properly. Adjust touch behaviors to your needs by useing
Citron IRT control panel application.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
