Quick Installation Guide The complete installation guide for INF files is to be found in your Windows 95 handbook. This is ONLY a quick guide to using prepared INF file! Copy the files MDMELSAA.INF and ELSAWAVE.INF into the directory: WINDOWS\INF\. The file ELSAWAVE.INF is only used by the modem ELSA MicroLink 33.6TS. You can get full voice functionality for the Speakerphone modem ELSA MicroLink 33.6TS only with the driver UNIMODV.EXE from Micosoft. Note: The INF-directory is by default not visible under Windows 95. To make this visible, use Windows 95's Explorer and the menus View/Options. After copying this file, further products will be available to you in the "My Computer" menu Control Panel/Modem. Installation Unimodem voice driver ---------------------------------- Copy the file UNIMODV.EXE into a directory you like (for example: C:\UNIMODEM ). Doubleclick the file for selfextract. Mark the file UNIMODV.INF with the right mousepad and click on Install. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
