To install the driver manually, follow the step-by-step procedures described on each individual section
for a more clear installation.


Installing the Modem Driver for Win2K/XP

Please follow these instructions to install the Modem driver:

1. From your screen, click on the "My Computer" icon and use your mouse or touchpad right button to select the "Properties" item.
2. Click on the "Hardware" tab from the "System Properties" dialog window.
3. Click on the "Other Device" (denoted by a yellow mark symbol), select the "PCI Device" (for Win2K) or "PCI Modem" (for WinXP).
4. Click the "Update Driver" tab and select the "Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)" item.
5. Select the "Include this location in the search" item.
6. Select the "Browse" button from the "Include this location in the search" and specify for the designate location of your CD driver.


Installing the Modem Driver for Win98SE/ME

Please follow these instructions to install the Modem driver:

1. From your screen, click on the "My Computer" icon and use your mouse or touchpad right button to select the "Properties" item.
2. Click on the "Device Manager" and select the "PCI Card" item.  Use your mouse cursor to double click the "Reinstall Driver" item. 
3. Select the "Specify the location of the driver (Advanced)" and click on the "Specify a location" item.
4. Select the "Browse" button from the "Include this location in the search" and specify for the designate location of your CD driver.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
