* System Requirements *

One of the following operating systems is required:

  Windows Me
  Windows 2000
  Windows 98 or Windows 98 Second Edition
  Windows XP

* Installation for First Computer on Broadband Internet *
*********************************************************

 1. Order your broadband Internet Service, either Broadband or Cable.

 2. Make sure your broadband service is active, and you can browse on the 
    Internet.

 3. Turn off your computer, disconnect the network cable between your 
    Cable/DSL modem and your PC at the modem end. And connect your PC 
    to LAN Port #1 on iNETshare 104 instead.

 4. Use one of the three cables provided, connect your Cable/DSL modem to 
    the Internet port on iNETshare 104.

 5. Insert CD into your computer.

 6. Select SETUP (If you have disabled AUTORUN in your PC, you will have 
    to first manually select AUTORUN from your CD before your can choose 
    SETUP.)

 7. Select Custom

 8. Clikc Next, then finally Finish

 9. You may need to re-boot your computer depending on the version of
    Windows in your system.

* Installation for additional Computers sharing the Internet *

Hardware Installation
----------------------
The two iNETusb Adapter comes with a USB pigtail. The adapter itself 
has a socket for your Ethernet cable which comes with this kit.

 1. Make sure your PC is powered on and that you are at the Windows 
    desktop.

 2. Connect your adapter to a LAN port on iNETshare 104 using anyone of 
    the three Ethernet cable which comes with this kit.

 3. Insert the pigtail into the USB port on your PC. The adapter is now 
    connected to your PC.

 4. Follow instructions from your Windows Hardware Installation Wizard. 
    Insert NetExcell CD into your computer. If you have autorun enabled, 
    you will get the initial screen. You may exit it to finish installing 
    driver for your iNETusb adapter.

 5. Reboot if necessary to enable the new drivers.

Internet Sharing Setup

After finishing Installing the driver for the iNETusb. Follow the next 
steps.

 1. Insert CD into your computer.

 2. Select SETUP (If you have disabled AUTORUN in your PC, you will have 
    to first manually select AUTORUN from your CD before your can choose 
    SETUP.)

 3. Select Custom

 4. Click Next, then finally Finish

 5. You may need to re-boot your computer depending on the version of
    Windows in your system.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
