                 ============================================

*******************************************
* Packet Driver Program for 3Com 3+ Share *
*******************************************

The 3Com 3+ Share Driver Program allows you to run 3Com 3+ Share on a
workstation with an Ethernet adapter.

The following lists the files that will be used in the installation:

Files           Description
-----------    -------------------------------------------------------
PEEPP.SYS       Packet driver program
ETH.SYS         3Com 3+ Share driver program

Perform these steps:

1. Follow the installation procedure for the 3Com EtherLink board.

2. Copy the ETH.SYS file from the source directory of the driver
   diskette into your boot disk or diskette. This program will replace the
   program of the same filename when you perform the installation procedure
   in step 1 above.

3. Ensure that your CONFIG.SYS file in the boot disk or diskette contains the
   following two lines, in the given order:

        DEVICE = PEEPP.SYS <packet_int_no>
        DEVICE = ETH.SYS

You may now reboot and start your 3COM workstation.
