Mustek Bearpaw 1200CS, Windows XP Logo Installation Instructions 

 
Before installing the latest version of driver software, please uninstall any previous version of software components (if there's any currently installed).

Disconnect the Bearpaw 1200CS USB cable from the computer. 

1: After downloading this file, extract it to a default folder (C:\BP1200CS_XP) by double-clicking the file.  Accept the default unzip folder by clicking on the UNZIP button.

2: Connect the product to the computer. 

3: After the [Found New Hardware Wizard] dialogue box appears, please select [Advanced] and click [Next] to continue with the hardware installation procedure.  

4: Then a dialogue box will appear, please press the [Browse] button to select the temp folder (C:\BP1200CS_XP) as the driver's location.  Afterward, follow the on-screen instructions to continue.  

5: With the product connected to the PC, 

6: Click and execute the b1200csv17.exe program.

7: When finished, then click and execute the UP_LIBv14.exe program.

8: Restart your computer, once the driver installation is complete.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
