install.txt Driver File Contents (radius-pci-2330.zip)

install notes:

i managed to get this to work with win 2000. may work for 98.

battled with yellow exclamation for ages.did this in order and am now able to capture quicktime with motodv1.4.1 application.

1.) Uninstall MotoDV if installed.

2.) Delete pcilynx.inf, pcilynx.pnf and oem4.inf, oem4.pnf from your \winnt\inf folder where 4 represents any number.

3.) Delete radlynx.sys from \winnt\system32 folder if win2k. the equivalent in 98 is pcilynx.vxd in \windows\system folder

4.) Shut down computer. Remove card from slot. Power back up into windows. Shut down. Put card back in. Power back up. (you may be able to skip this step by deleting the DO 1394 controller in device manager and then rescan for new devices to start the new hardware found wizard but i am describing how i managed to do it)

5.) The "found new hardware wizard" should start. i chose select driver from a list. then have disk. then browsed to the pcilynx.inf in this folder and it took.

6.) then i installed motodv and then ran the updater from discreet's site (current name of owner of DO. at time of writing file was at

ftp://ftp.discreet.com/web/support/cinestream/DriverUpdate5_00.exe

good luck!!!
