Windows NT3.5 / NT3.51 users, please also refer to the following: ------------------------------------------------------------------- File Description/Installation Notes ------------------------------------------------------------------- \README.TXT Overall installation notes for all users This document contains information on the following topics: 1.0 Overview 2.0 Installation Notes ------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.0 Overview ------------ The Windows NT CD is needed to complete this installation. 2.0 Installation Notes ---------------------- 1. Double-click on the "Main" icon. 2. In the "Main" window, double-click on the "Control Panel" icon. 3. In the "Control Panel" window, double-click on the "Network" icon. 4. In the "Network Settings" window, click on the [Add Adapter] button. Windows NT will display a list of all available drivers. 5. In the "Add Network Adapter" window, select "<Other> Requires disk from manufacturer" for third party adapters not included in the list. Then click on the [Continue] button. 6. Insert the driver diskette into floppy disk drive. 7. In the "Insert Disk" window, specify the path for the driver. Example: A:\ Then click on the [OK] button. 8. Windows NT will attempt to locate the OEMSETUP.INF file in the specified path. If it exists there, Windows NT will then copy the appropriate drivers to the Windows NT system. 9. In the "Select OEM Option" window, select "D-Link DE-220 Family Ethernet Adapter", then click on the [OK] button. 10. Windows NT will pop up one window to ask the vlaues of some keywords. Such as "IO Port", "IRQ Number", "JITI", "EarlyTx", and "NetworkAddress". 11. If you want to change the default MAC Address, Use the "NetworkAddress" to specify the MAC Address. The NetworkAddress is a 12 digits string (ex. 001122334455) 12. The drivers are now properly installed. The installation procedure will then proceed to the next steps. Please refer to your Windows NT installation guide for information on these steps. 13. After the initial installation, the drivers will be permanently installed to the Windows NT system. Subsequent accesses to the network driver list will include these drivers as options.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
