1.0 Overview

    For more information, please refer to \NETWARE\README.TXT file.

2.0 Installation Notes
----------------------
    1. Follow the normal installation procedure as described by NetWare
       Lite.
    2. Simply choose "NOVELL NE2000", when you are asked to select a
       network driver.

    3. After completion of the installation procedure, modify the
       following lines in your STARTNET.BAT file from:

                LSL
                NE2000
                IPXODI A
                CLIENT
        to:
                LSL
                DE22X
                IPXODI A
                CLIENT

    4. Append the <PATH>\NET.CFG file to the NWLITE directory. This
       directory was created when you installed NetWare Lite. <PATH>
       is the directory where NET.CFG resides.

    5. Run STARTNET to access the Novell network.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
