<Summery>
   This is a file to explain Farmware Updater Tool for User.
   Farmware Updater Tool consists of following file composition.

(1)UpdateTool.exe
   This is Farmware Updater Tool's main program.
   When you want to update Farmware, this file have to run by you.

(2)setting.ini
   This file is described for Farmware Data file.
   Do not edit or delete this file.
   If you do so , updating can not do correctly.

(3)readme.txt
   This is this file itself. Please read before using Tool.

(4)Manual[Folder]
   These are Manuals for User. Please read your language's document before do the updating.
   We recommend you read carefully this document.

(5)F/W files[eg:brn file]
   These are F/W ROM Files. The File name is not fixed name. 
   So, we could not write file names on this readme.


<Attention>
*Before use this F/W Updater Tool*

   Please do not perform F/W updating, FAX, copying, printing, and scanning 
   concurrently as F/W updating may not be performed correctly.
   A damage may be given to your machine in the worst case.
   We recommend you to use USB in order to prevent someone printing via network.
   And, please pull out the modular cable of FAX.


<Limitation>
   When you perform F/W updating and any Job concurrently, you get into Fail displayed 
   on Updater Tool's UI.
   If you get into Fail, we recommend to re-start F/W update work from the first.
   If you can not close this Update Tool using "Close" button , please close using
   "x" clicking or "Alt+F4" key in. And re-start from the first.

   And then, you have to confirm your machine is "Ready" status on your machine's LCD Panel. 
   Please be careful enough.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
