CCD-XP 32. Version 3.4.0.2 BETA

NEW FEATURES

	- The program runs in YUY2 overlay mode. The graphic card must be compatible with YUY2 overlay mode.

	- ALPHA Support for NTSC-M. In this video norm colors should be stables and with a correct saturation, but they could be not the right colors. You sholud wait for the new version. THE PROGRAM DOes NOT RUN IN DOuBLE RESOLUTION MODES.

	- New decoder modes.
The old MMX mode has been deleted (The hardware is now responsible for the YUV->RGB conversion, so this mode it isn't useless yet).

The "PAL color", "B/N" and "Ninguno" modes has been deleted too.

Three new modes have been added. There are now four color modes: two of them are "normal" (at 25 fps9) and the two other are interlaced (at 50 fps). The double resolution modes duplicate the horizontal resolution (from 360 to 720 pixels). The vertical resolution varies with the video norm (280 for PAL B/G/Nc and 240 for PAL-M/NTSC-M in the not interlaced modes). In the interlaced modes the vertical resolution is double.

	- New vertical locking. PAL-M and NTSC-M support is ALPHA. In the interlaced modes you should adjust the screen very precisely to correctly order the image lines.

	- New OSD system, with color background.

	- Status bar added.

	- Debugging valuas are now shown in a different window (F12)

KNOWN BUGS

	- The "Secuencia" menu comman does not actually run.

	- Thera are several errors inl the "Cruz Blanca" polarity detection mode, espacially in the interlaced modes. These error should be fixed in the next version.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

	- TV decoder card with BT878/9 chip. Vertical locking do not run correctly with BT848/9 chips, thought the software has not been extensively tested with those BT848/9 chips.

	- Graphic card with YUY2 overly support. Configuring the graphic card could be required through the Windows scren propoerties.

	- Pentium or comptible processor at 233 MHz or higher for B/W modes (1.5 GHZ for interlaced mode).

	- For the color modes: 500 MHz (Color mode), 800 MHZ (Color Entrelazado), 1 GHz (Color Doble Resolución), 1.6 GHz (Color Entrelazado Doble Resolución).

	- Files DSDRV34.DLL, DSDRV4.SYS, DSDRV.VXD and CHANNELS.LST must lie in the same that the program do.

RECOMENDED HARDWARE

	- Graphic card with TV-out. The recommended operation mode is taking out the image through the TV-out choosing the TV (or VCR) as primary device for overlay.

	- The image could be not recordable with programs like CAMTASIA, etc. Is is recommende recording with the home VCR or DVDR.

cCD-xp 32. Version 3.4.0.3 BETA

NEW FEATURES

-The program, during its execution, switch off the screen saver.

-Changes in the RISC program and in the EEZ locking routine, to gain compatibility in this verson with PAL-M and NTSC-M. These change are not extensively teste in PAL-B/G/Nc, but they should not be a problem with these norms.

ccdxp32 v 3.4.1 BETA

There was changes in the EEZ locking method, in this version.

The user now can modify the locking sensibility. The values of sensibility are stored in the SENS_MIN parameter in the CCRYPT.CFG file. The old value was 17. This value could be increased to reduce the sensibility and so avoid the image trembling; for example it could be 25 or 30. The user should experiment to find the right value. ¡This could be differnt in every tv channel!

Required file. The must lie in the same folder that the executable file:

	CHANNELS.LST
	DSDRV34.DLL
	DSDRV4.SYS (for win2k and winxp)
	DSDRV4.VXD (for win98, winMe)

These are not mandatory

CCRYPT.CFG (if it does not existe, the program will create it)
	CCDXP32.CHM (help file for v. 3.3)

ccdxp32 v 3.4.1.1

	- There was minor changes in EEZ-locking method to increase image stability.
Locking system works well int PAL-M and NTSC (with a standard signal)

	- Readme file in english (or so I think)!

	- Sources included (only for private use)

ccdxp32 v.3.4.2

This is an alpha version. Please do not run this software if you don't know the mean of alfpa version.

The purpose of this version is checking the ntsc support. Only in "Color" mode!!!.

Changes in this version:

	- Rewrited some parts of the ntsc code

	- Added the capability of decoding bmp files (menu->archivo->decodificar). To terminate the file decoding mode press F.

	- Several bugs fixed

ccdxp32 v.3.4.3.4

This is an alpha version. Please do not run this software if you don't know the mean of alfpa version.

The purpose of this version is checking the ntsc support. Only in "Color" mode!!!.

Changes in this version:

	- Rewrited some parts of the ntsc code

	- Now snapshots can be save as bmp or jpg (Menu->Archivo->...). If saved as jpg names ccdxp000.jpg, ccdxp001.jpg, ccdxp002.jpg, etc., are used.

	- The command "Secuencia" was removed. We are planning MPEG capture (maybe).

	- Fixed bugs in White Cross method (Cruz blanca). Now this method is fully funtional

	- Several bugs fixed

ccdxp32 v.3.5.0.1

This is a beta version. Please do not run this software if you don't know the mean of beta version.

The purpose of this versión is testing a new universal decoding algorithm which is valid for every PAL and NTSC norm.

Changes in this version:

	- New decoding algorithm, ONLY IN THE "finiR" MODE. The rest of modes are unchanged and they are suitable only for PAL.

	- Added a hue control. The default value of the hue is 72º for NTSC, 22 for PAL-B and 27º for PAL-M. You aren't usually goint to modify this value, specially in PAL. The hue es controlled with the '1' and '2' keys from the standard keyboard.

	- Several bugs fixes.

Limitation and known bugs:

	- The new algorithm is not optimized and thus some image artifacts are posible to appear, such as some pixels with shifted colors, etc. The new algorithm it is a little slow yet because it is no optimized.

	- The new algorithm has not been test in PAL-Nc, althought I suppose it should run with this norm, it could have hidden bugs at this moment.

ccdxp32 v.3.6.0.3

This is a beta version. Please do not run this software if you don't know the mean of beta version.

The purpose of this new version:

	- Better pal-nc support
	- Old graphics card support

Changes on this version:

	- Some changes in finiR mode to increase its performance and to suit with pal-nc norm
	- New video editing modes. Now the program can run on overlay mode (yuy2) or RGB mode, wich is compatible with older graphics cards. To switch off video overlay, you must uncheck "Superposición de vido" option in "Opciones" menu. If the program could not show the video overlay in the actual video mode, RGB mode will be shown. You can distinguish easyly if the program is running on overlay or RGB mode; if in overlay mode, OSD text has no background, while in RGB mode OSD text will be shown on a black background.
	- Added "Triple buffer" option", in "Opciones" menu. This option allows increasing performance in overlay mode; you can switch it off, if you'd encounter problems with graphics memory (write BUFFERS = 1 in ccrypt.cfg file).
	- Bug fixed: sound did not switched off when closing the program when a customized capture card was choosen.
	- Several intern changes in DirectX stuff, in this version DX7 at least is needed.
	- The hue (tono) default values were changed. You shouldn't usually change these values.

Limitations:

	- Changes in pal-nc only in finiR mode.
	- finiR mode is not absolutely optimized yet.
	- Changes in graphics procedures could be not compatible with some graphics cards, mostly if they are old, only in overlay mode. But almost every card supporting DX7 should be running in RGB mode.
