SimpleTech FlashLink Drivers 

File: USBFLASHLINK.EXE

This driver only supports the following SimpleTech USB FlashLink Readers:

STI-UCS200 Dual Slot Compact Flash and SmartMedia Reader
STI-UCFSD200 Dual Slot Compact Flash and MMC/SD Reader
STI-UMSD100 MMC/SD USB Key Chain Reader
STI-UCF100 CompactFlash USB Key Chain Reader
STI-USM100 SmartMedia USB Key Chain Reader

This installation software supports the following operating systems:

Windows 98
Windows 98se
Windows ME
Windows 2000
Windows XP

If you have a CD-ROM the auto installer program should automatically start the
installation program. If the program doesn't auto-start, double click autorun.exe file on the root directory of the CD-ROM.

If you received a file from email or downloaded the file from our web-site, please follow these directions:

This is a WinZip self extracting program. The program file are extracted to c:\Flashlink
 
Installation:

1) Unplug USB FlashLink reader from your computer.
2) Double click on the autorun.exe file to start the program. This is located in the C:\Flashlink directory.
3) Click on "Install USB FlashLink Driver" Follow the prompts.
4) Check "Yes, I want to restart my computer" 
5) When system comes back up plug in USB device. The product will automatically install.
6) The USB Device will show up as a removable drive under my computer. You can now use the Flashlink to transfer your pictures or MP3 files.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
