The installation of Ambient 56K External Modems.
a. Please connect the RS-232 cable to your modem and computer.
b Turn on the computer.
c. The computer will detect your modem and ask for the right driver.
d. Please browse/point to the folder you extracted too.
e. Press "O.K." to begin the installation for your modem.
The installation of Ambient 56K Internal modems.
a. Turn off your computer
b. Insert modem into an available PCI slot.
c. Power up PC. Windows 95\98 will find PCI Serial Controller.
d. Please browse/point to the folder you extracted too.
e. Follow the instructions to complete the installation.
f. At the end of the installation it will necessary to REBOOT
the system in order for the installation to complete.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
