How to flash the BIOS.txt Driver File Contents (9238MS230.zip)

--Quick Guide for flashing BIOS, provided by MSI--
1. Create a MS-DOS boot diskette which contains phlash16.exe and BIOS file(xxxxxxxx.WPH)
   you want to flash in ROM. Both files can be found in the package you download.
2. Boot from MS-DOS boot diskette and get a:\> prompt.
3. Type "phlash16 xxxxxxxx.WPH /mode=3 /bbl /c /x", then press ENTER
    "xxxxxxxx.WPH" is the BIOS file name
4. After flashing complete, press any key to reboot.
5. Press "F2" when first reboot after flashing.
6. Load BIOS defaults, then save settings and exit.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
