These notes describe release 1.0.10 software for the Broadcom BCM5751 TPM.
See the "Release Version Information Table" below.

Software Compatibility
======================

This release of software supports:
- BCM5751 NIC/TPM with A3 and A4 step silicon versions (P13 & P14)


Upgrading from the Previous TPM Application Software Release
==========================================

It is highly recommended that you upgrade any previous installations
of the Broadcom TPM Application Software.

TPM Application Software Information
=============================

Installing the TPM Application Software:
====================================================
a. With this release, it is unnecessary to install the TPM driver separately. Running 'setup'
will also install the driver by default.  To install the TPM Application Software without the driver,
use the following command line parameters:
setup.exe /v"TPMDRVINST=0"
For silent installation, use the following:
setup.exe /s /v"/qn"

b. Unzip TPM Application Software package onto folder on target machine.

c. Double-click on 'setup.exe' in top level folder and follow installation wizard instructions.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
