This document contains information on the following topics: 1.0 Overview 2.0 Installation Notes __________________________________________________________ 1.0 Overview -------------- The ODI driver program allows you to run multiple protocol stacks and install up to two network adapters in a workstation. This ODI driver supports the Port, Node Address, Protocol and Frame options for creating your own NET.CFG file. For more information on these keywords, please refer to Novell's "NetWare ODI shell for DOS - NET.CFG options". Please also refer to the INST_DOS.TXT file for more information. 2.0 Installation Notes ------------------------ The NOVELL Personal NetWare installation diskettes are needed to complete this installation. 1. Follow the normal installation procedure as described by Personal Netware. 2. It will prompt you for a network driver. Choose "Other Network support driver". 3. It will request a path for the drivers. Respond with the path of the ODI DOS driver, .INS file, and NET.CFG sample installed with this readme. 4. After completion of the installation procedure, modify the following lines in your STARTNET.BAT file from: LSL NE2000 IPXODI A CLIENT to: LSL ENW35 IPXODI A CLIENT 5. Append the <PATH>\NET.CFG file to the NWCLIENT directory. This directory was created when you installed Personal NetWare . <PATH> is the directory where NET.CFG resides. 6. Run STARTNET to access the Novell network.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
