For NDIS.OS2 Driver 3.2 For ODI.OS2 Driver ___________________________________________________________________ 1.0 Introduction ----------------- The ENW-3501 is designed to work with the OS/2 v2.1 or above which supports the PCMCIA Card Services. Note the PCMCIA Card Services, named PCMCIA.SYS, for OS/2 should be added to your CONFIG.SYS file. 2.0 Hot-Swap ------------ The NDIS OS/2 driver supports the On-Line Hot-Swap function which allows the ENW-3501 PC Card to be removed and re-inserted without reloading the driver. IBM OS/2 Swap, DSCD.OS2 and DSCDOPEN.OS2 are Client Drivers. which work together with the ODI OS/2 driver in a Netware environment. 3.0 Installation Notes ----------------------- 3.1. For NDIS.OS2 Driver OS/2 v3.0 Warp Installation --------------------------- Follow the steps: Step1 Install OS/2 v3.0 Warp The following is an example CONFIG.SYS file which will be created after the OS/2 v3.0 Warp is installed. *** Example CONFIG.SYS file *** ------------------------------------------- . . After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
