This installation assumes that the PCMCIA drivers are working properly.
Please consult INST_DOS.TXT for help with PCMCIA Drivers.
Getting Started will describe the installation for PCNFS.
Requirements

A PCMCIA compatible Laptop
A PCMCIA chipset that is PCIC compatible (Intel, Cirrus, Vadem, and
VLSI) or Databook compatible.

A ENW-3500-2T
A knowledge of basic DOS commands and editing text files
Minimum Skill Level

A knowledge of basic DOS commands

Getting Started
ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ
The directory structure has been setup for automatic OEM installation.
The OEM Installation section in this manual provides a brief
explanation regarding OEM driver installation. Follow the guidelines
in the Sun Microsystems PC-NFS manuals for more details to install the
ENW-3500-2T driver.
1. Insert the PC-NFS QUIKNDIS disk into the system's floppy
drive. Change the drive letter containing the
QUIKNDIS disk.
2. Type QUIKNDIS at the prompt and press Enter.
3. A message will appear asking for the current boot drive.
Enter the current boot drive and press Enter.
4. In the next dialog box, press "Y" to save the current
PROTOCOL.INI as PROTOCOL.OLD. Ignore this step if this
dialog box does not appear.
5. In the adapter card list box, select the Custom option
to install the NDIS driver for PC-NFS.
6. Now, follow the dialog boxes and enter the correct driver
path to install the NDIS driver.For example, C:\PCNFS.
7. Next, enter the ENW35 for the NIF file name and press Enter.
8. Follow the dialog boxes and enter the correct parameters.
9. Installation of the family NDIS 2.0.1 driver for
PC-NFS is now complete.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
