Bug Fix List.txt Driver File Contents (FlexMotion4.5f1.zip)

To install bug fix:
1) Copy FlexMotion32.dll to the Windows\system folder
2) From the Measurement and Automation Explorer, right click on the FlexMotion board and select "Update firmware"

	are:

	1.  Configure Gear Master now returns an error if axis and masterAxisOrEncoderOrADC are the same.

	2.  An error is now returned if a command is send when the board is in the power up state.

	3.  If 360.0 degrees is entered as a start angle, it will now be interpreted as 0.0.

	4.  Allow for indirect variables in return vectors and input vectors.  
		- Now variables are 0x1 to 0x78 and indirect variables are 0x81 to 0xF8.

	5.  Defaults are no longer saved when auto enable is enabled or disabled.

	6.  New check for active limits on all axes involved in a circular or spherical profile.

	7.  Gearing is disabled when a slave axis encounters a hardware or software limit.

	8.  Now supports counts and steps per revolution greater than 65535.

	9.  Fix a watchdog timeout error caused by loading different counts per revolution on axes in a vectorspace.

NatMotn.Inf:
	Copy this file into the Windows\Inf folder.  This file fixes the bug that causes Windows 98 to ask for the driver disk when the FW-7344 controller is plugged into the FireWire port.

Windows NT 4.0:

NatMotion.sys:
	Copy this file into the Winnt\system32\drivers folder.  This file fixes the bug which sometimes causes PCI/PXI motion control devices to fail if they cannot share an interrupt resource.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
