Elo Universal Driver for Windows XP and Windows Vista APR Release 3.0 March 12, 2008 Elo TouchSystems A Division of Tyco Electronics Corporation Elo Universal Driver contains native 32 bits designed for Windows XP and Windows Vista, a setup program, control panel program, tool tray application and right button application for Elo TouchSystems' touchmonitors. ============================================================= Notes: This Driver's User Manual is valid for all Universal drivers version. Acoustic Pulse Recognition (APR) is factory calibrated. Video alignment or calibration not required in single monitor configuration. In order for the Edge Acceleration Tool to work correctly, Video Alignment needs to be done at once. For Windows XP: Touch may not wake the system when in Stand-by power save mode. Move the mouse or press a key on the keyboard to return from Stand-by mode. Disable Stand-by mode in the Power Management control panel to avoid this issue when the USB touchscreen is your only input device. For Server 2003 32 bit: It depends on the hardware configuration, the event viewer might display a warning: "The description for Event ID (3) in Source (EloAPR) can not be found..." This warning can be ignored as it does not effect the functions and features of the APR driver. ============================================================= Supported Touchmonitors and Elo Touchscreen Controllers ============================================================= - Elo USB APR Controllers ================================================================ Installing Elo Universal Driver on Windows XP or Windows Vista ================================================================ Note: you must have administrator access rights on your Windows XP or Windows Vista to install Elo Universal Driver for Windows.
