Drivers are installed automatically as a part of the Protector Suite installation. It is not necessary to install the drivers separately. If you connect your device after you install the Protector Suite, drivers for your device are automatically loaded without user interaction. You are informed about it by the tooltip in the tray icon area (depending on your operating system). If you for any reason need to install the drivers manually, you can use the following procedure: 1. Plug in your fingerprint device if you do not use the built-in one. 2. If no "Found New Hardware" or similar dialog is displayed, open the Device Manager window: (Right-click MyComputer icon, or use shortcut Windows Key + Pause, select "Hardware" tab and click the "Device Manager" button) Then perform "Scan for hardware changes". 3. When prompted for drivers, insert the installation CD. To update the driver manually: 1. Open the Device Manager window. (Right-click MyComputer icon, or use shortcut Windows Key + Pause, select "Hardware" tab and click the "Device Manager" button). 2. Right-click the device and select Update driver. If you encounter any problems, try to use the TouchStrip Diagnostics Tool (Start - Control Panel - TouchStrip Diagnostics).Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
