PicSight-GigE Filter driver installation notes for Windows 2000/XP

General notes
------------------------------------------------------------------
. Files needed to install the PicSight-GigE network filter driver 
  are located in the LVSDS install directory  (by default 
  C:\LVSDS_NT\drivers\Win_2000_XP).
  The following files must be present and located in the same
  directory:
       - LVGVPDRV.sys
       - LvGvpDrv.INF
       - LvGvpDrv_M.INF

Installation notes

. Go to the "Network Connections" control panel
. Open the "Properties"-Dialog-Box for the desired network card
. Click "Install.." 
. Select "Service" and click on "Add.."
. Use "Have Disk..." for pointing to the directory where the driver
  is located. Point to "LvGvpDrv.INF"
. Select "Leutron Vision Filter Driver" and click "OK"
. The driver is automaticly accessed by LVSDS if available.

Configuration notes
------------------------------------------------------------------
. The filter driver is used by default. The use of the filter 
  driver can be switched off by setting in leutron.ini in 
  the [LvGvp]-Section: 
  UseFiltDrv=0

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
