* 1. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
************************************************************
1. The system must contain one of the following Intel
Chipsets:
Intel (R) E7221 Chipset
2. There must be sufficient hard disk space in the <TEMP>
directory on the system to install this software.
The drivers included with this distribution package are
designed to function with released versions of Microsoft
Windows* 2000 and Windows* 2003 Enterprise.
Please check with your system provider to determine the
operating system and Intel Chipset used in your system.

* 2. INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE
************************************************************
General Installation Notes:
1. The operating system must be installed prior to the
installation of the driver.
2. This installation procedure is specific only to the
version of driver and installation file included in this
release.
3. This procedure assumes that all of the software
associated with this release is located in the same
directory.
Archive Extraction
--------------------------------------------
To install from the Web, you will download either a ZIP file
or an EXE file.
a. EXE file: Double-click the file you downloaded and
specify a location into which the driver files will be
extracted. Click "Unzip" and the files will extract.
Click "OK" on the next window, then click "Close".
b. ZIP file: Unzip the archive using a utility such as WinZip*
or PKZip*. (NOTE: Unzip with the directory structure intact.)
Driver Installation
-------------------------------------------------
Either:
Navigate to the directory the archive files were ex-
tracted to and double-click "Setup.exe"
OR
Click on Start -> Run and enter the path (or browse)
to the directory the archive files were extracted to
and select "Setup.exe". Then click "OK".

* 3. VERIFYING INSTALLATION OF THE SOFTWARE
************************************************************
1. Double Click on the "My Computer" icon, then double click on the
"Control Panel" icon, and then double click on the "System"
icon.
2. Click on "Hardware" Tab and select "device manager". Click on the
"Display Adapters" icon. The Intel Graphics Driver
should be listed. If not, the driver is not installed
correctly. To check the version of the driver, refer to
the section below.

* 4. IDENTIFYING THE SOFTWARE VERSION NUMBER

1. Double Click on the "My Computer" icon, then double click on the
"Control Panel" icon, and then double click on the "Display"
icon.
2. Select the "Settings" tab and then click on the
"Advanced" button.
3. Select the "Adapter" tab.
4. Select the "Properties" button.
5. Select the "Driver" tab. The graphics driver version
should be listed on this screen. This is the driver file
version and may differ from the build revision displayed in
this readme and in the release notes.

governed by the laws of California, excluding its principles of
conflict of laws and the United Nations Convention on Contracts
for the Sale of Goods. You may not export the Software in violation
of applicable export laws and regulations. Intel is not obligated
under any other agreements, unless they are in writing and signed
by an authorized representative of Intel.
GOVERNMENT RESTRICTED RIGHTS. The Software is provided with
"RESTRICTED RIGHTS." Use, duplication or disclosure by the
Government is subject to restrictions as set forth in
FAR52.227-14 and DFAR252.227-7013 et seq. or their successors.
Use of the Software by the Government constitutes acknowledgment

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
