Printer Driver

2. Installation Instructions:
Step 1: Preparation
1. Format a diskette or create a folder on the hard disk and copy
the files in this package to it. This diskette or location will
be referred to as the Printer Driver Disk for the remainder of
these installation instructions.
Step 2: Update / Installation
To install or update one of the printers listed above, take the
following steps:
1. Select the "Start" button on the task bar. Then select "Printers
and Faxes". Then select "Add a printer". Select "Next>".
2. Select "Local printer attached to this computer". Uncheck
"Automatically detect and install my Plug and Play printer".
Select "Next>".
3. Select the port to be used by this printer. Select "Next>".
4. Select the Have Disk... button.
5. Enter the path to the driver files on your disk or the CD.
6. Select the OK button.
7. Select the appropriate printer from the list and select the Next>
button.
8. If this printer is already installed on your system, you must
choose to either keep the existing driver or replace with the
new driver. A second print object with a different name will
be added for the new printer. Choose "Next>".
9. Enter the name you wish to appear for your printer or leave the
default if you wish. Decide if this printer will be the
default printer. Select "Next>".
10. If you do not wish to share your printer on a network, leave the
"Do Not share this printer" button marked and choose "Next>".
Otherwise, select the "Share as" radio button and enter the name
you wish to assign to this shared printer. Then choose "Next>".
Then, if you wish, enter the location of this printer and/or any
comments to associate with the printer and choose "Next>".
11. You now have the option to print a test page in order to test
the configuration of your printer. After making this decision,
choose "Next>".
12. Choose "Finish" to begin copying files for the installation. If
prompted for files during the installation process, point
to the drive or folder containing your Printer Driver Disk.
13. You can now setup your printer by going to the Printers folder
and right-clicking on your printer's icon. From the menu that
appears, choose Properties. When you have made all of the
desired changes choose "OK" to save your settings.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
