Decompress this file to a blank formatted 3.5" diskette.
To decompress this file to the A: drive type, "DIMPT A:"
and hit ENTER.
Label this diskette "SSD1_A01".
Win 3.1 or 3.11 installation procedure:
From Windows, choose FILE/RUN. Type in: A:\INSTALL.
Win95 installation procedure:
From START button, choose SETTINGS/CONTROL PANEL. In CONTROL PANEL, choose
DISPLAY/SETTINGS/CHANGE DISPLAY TYPE, the change display adapter box appears,
select CHANGE [next to adapter type category], the select box appears. Insert
the video driver disk [SSD1_A01] into A:. Select HAVE disk, the install from disk box
appears, by default A:\ will be entered in the "Copy Manufacturer's Files
From" category, select OK. After the diskette is read, another select device
box appears with several listings. Choose/highlight "S3 Inc. Trio 64 V+PCI"
an then select OK. Files from the diskette will be copied to the hard drive.
Exit out of the install program. Windows 95 will prompt you to restart,
choose RESTART. After Windows 95 has come back up the drivers are installed.
You may then change to your preferred resolution using CONTROL PANEL,
DISPLAY/SETTINGS selection.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
