SINGLE END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT 
FOR INTERVIDEO WINDVD SOFTWARE

IMPORTANT-READ CAREFULLY.  

This InterVideo WinDVD End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal AGREEMENT between you and InterVideo Inc. for the InterVideo software product identified above, which product includes computer software and may include associated media, printed materials, and "online" or electronic documentation ("SOFTWARE PRODUCT"), to the extent such items are not accompanied by a separate license agreement or terms of use. An amendment or addendum to this EULA may accompany the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. Only if you accept the terms and conditions of this EULA will you be allowed to access to, download, copy or otherwise use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. By clicking on the ¡§I ACCEPT¡¨ button, by opening the package that contains the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, or by installing, copying, downloading, accessing or otherwise using the SOFTWARE, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA (OR PARTICIPATION OF ANY PREVIOUS CONSENT). IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ANY TERMS OF THIS EULA, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO USE OR COPY THIS SOFTWARE PRODUCT; THEN DO NOT INSTALL OR USE THE SOFTWARE PRODUCT, INSTEAD, PROMPTLY CONTACT YOUR PLACE OF PURCHASE FOR INSTRUCTIONS ON RETURN IN ACCORDANCE WITH ITS RETURN POLICIES.
SOFTWARE PRODUCT LICENSE

The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is licensed, not sold. 

1) GRANT OF LICENSE. 
This EULA grants you, the computer software product end-user, following rights:
* Applications Software. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT may be used only by you.  You may install and use one copy of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, or any prior version thereof for the same operating system, on a single computer. You may obtain only one exact and complete compact disc or otherwise a back-up copy of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT in a medium just for recovery purpose.  If you receive your first copy of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT electronically, and a second copy on media, then you can use the second copy only in accordance with your applicable license stated in this Agreement solely for backup or archival purposes. 
* License Pack. If you have acquired the EULA(s) for InterVideo SOFTWARE PRODUCT suite with multi-software products as a License Pack, you may only install, copy, download, access or otherwise use one copy of the individual computer software portions of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT suite to the extent you accept each of the applicable EULA incorporated thereto, and the total number of the computer software products that install, copy, download, access or otherwise use by you shall be no more than the number of single computer software incorporated in the SOFTWARE PRODUCT suite .
* Trial Version. If you obtain a version of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT expressly identified by InterVideo to be used only to review, demonstrate and evaluate the SOFTWARE PRODUCT for a limited time period (normally the trial period of InterVideo SOFTWARE PRODUCT will not be longer than 14 days from the time you install the SOFTWARE). The Trial Version may have limited features, may lack the ability for you to save the end product of SOFTWARE PRODUCT, and will cease operating after a predetermined trial period due to an internal mechanism within the Trial Version. The license rights granted under this EULA for such Trial Version will be limited to the first trial period after you first install the SOFTWARE PRODUCT unless you fulfill the payment and/or supply information required to activate your licensed copy in the manner described during the setup sequence of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT or otherwise in the relevant webpage for such Trial Version of SOFTWARE PRODUCT. You can activate the SOFTWARE PRODUCT through the use of the Internet, e-mail or other appropriate manner designated by InterVideo. You may also need to obtain an activation key to activate such SOFTWARE PRODUCT according to the guideline of such activation.

* Academic Edition Software.  If the SOFTWARE PRODUCT is identified by InterVideo as "Academic Edition" or "Educational Copy" or "AE," while sells to you,you must be a "Qualified Educational User" to use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. If you are not a Qualified Educational User, you have no rights under this EULA. 2) DESCRIPTION OF OTHER RIGHTS AND LIMITATIONS.
The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is licensed as a single product and is only for your internal use. The component parts cannot be separated for use on more than one computer. The license and SOFTWARE PRODUCT herein is specifically prohibited to be shared, transferred to or used concurrently on different computers.
You are prohibited to sublicense, assign, or transfer the license or the SOFTWARE PRODUCT (including any compact disc or otherwise back-up copy provided by InterVideo), or authorise others to do so, except as expressly provided in this Agreement.  Any attempt to otherwise sublicense, assign, or transfer any of the rights, duties, or obligations hereunder is null and void.  In the event of any unauthorized sublicense, assign, transfer or copying you will be required to pay the amount no less than one additional fee for each such additional sublicense, assign, transfer or copy.

RENTAL. You cannot loan, rent, lease, lend or lend the SOFTWARE PRODUCT to any entity or individual, or otherwise transfer the compact disc or other back-up copy of SOFTWARE PRODUCT to other.

MODIFICATION. You cannot use, copy, modify, disassemble, reverse engineer, or decompile the SOFTWARE PRODUCT or any copy, modification or merged portion, in whole or in part, except as expressly provided in this EULA. 

SOFTWARE TRANSFER. You may permanently transfer all of your rights under this EULA, provided you (a) retain no copies, (b) transfer all of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT (including all component parts, compact disc or other back-up medium or copy, the media and printed materials, update and/or upgrades if any, this EULA, activation key (or the Certificate of Authenticity) and other relevant materials as provided by InterVideo to you for this SOFTWARE PRODUCT, and (c) the recipient agrees to abide by all of the terms of this EULA. If the SOFTWARE PRODUCT is an update or upgrade, any transfer must include all prior versions of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and all of your rights therein, if any. Any portion of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT merged into another SOFTWARE PRODUCT program will continue to be subject to the terms and conditions of this EULA unless specifically stipulated by InterVideo to the contrary. If you transfer the SOFTWARE PRODUCT to another party, you must at the same time transfer all the authorised copies whether in printed or computer readable form to the same party, and/or destroy any copies not transferred including those in your possession, and all modifications and portions of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT contained or merged into other software programs.

3) SUPPORT SERVICES. If this SOFTWARE was received as part of a "bundle" with another software or hardware manufacturer's product, you are required to contact the manufacturer for first level support. Otherwise, InterVideo may provide you with support services related to the SOFTWARE PRODUCT ("Support Services").
The provision and use of Support Services is governed by the InterVideo policies and programs described in the SOFTWARE user manual and/or in "online" documentation. Any supplemental software code provided to you as part of the Support Services shall be considered as part of the SOFTWARE and subject to the terms and conditions of this EULA unless accompanied by a separate license agreement or terms. With respect to technical information you provide to InterVideo as part of the Support Services, you hereby authorize InterVideo to use such information for its business purpose, including for product updates and development. InterVideo will use its best efforts to not utilize such technical information in a form that personally identifies you.

4) TERMINATION. Without prejudice to any of InterVideo's other rights, InterVideo may terminate this EULA if you fail to comply with any terms and conditions of this EULA. In such event, you must destroy all copies of the SOFTWAREPRODUCT and all of its component parts; to this end you grant to InterVideo the right to, with or without notice, monitor your Internet accessible activities for the purpose of verifying SOFTWARE PRODUCT performance and/or your compliance with the terms hereof, including, but not limited to the remote monitoring and verification of your implementation, use and duplication of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT

5) UPGRADES. If the SOFTWARE PRODUCT is labeled or otherwise identified by InterVideo as an "upgrade" from an earlier version of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, you must be properly licensed to use a product identified by InterVideo as being eligible for the upgrade in order to use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. A SOFTWARE PRODUCT labeled or otherwise identified by InterVideo as an upgrade replaces and/or supplements the product that formed the basis for your eligibility for such upgrade. You may use the resulting upgraded product only in accordance with the terms of this EULA. You agree by your installation and use of such copy of SOFTWARE to voluntarily terminate your earlier EULA and that you will not continue to use the earlier version of the SOFTWARE or transfer it to another person or entity unless such transfer is pursuant to Section 2 of this EULA. If the SOFTWARE PRODUCT is an upgrade of a component of a package or suite of software programs that you licensed as a single product, the SOFTWARE PRODUCTmay be used and transferred only as part of that single product package and may not be separated for use on more than one computer.

4) COPYRIGHT AND TRADEMARKS. 
All title, interests, trademarks, patents, copyrights and other intellectual property rights in and pertaining to the SOFTWARE PRODUCT (including but not limited to any images, photographs, animation, video, audio, music, text, and applets incorporated into the SOFTWARE PRODUCT), the accompanying, printed materials and any copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT are owned by InterVideo or its affiliated companies. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is protected by patent, copyright and trademark laws and international treaty provisions. You must treat the SOFTWARE PRODUCT like any other copyrighted material for archival purposes only. You may not copy the printed materials accompanying the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.
You may not remove, modify or alter any copyright or trademark notice from any part of the SOFTWARE, including but not limited to any such notices contained in the physical and/or electronic media or documentation, in any of the runtime resources and/or in any web-presence or web-enabled notices, code or other embodiments originally contained in or dynamically or otherwise created by the SOFTWARE.

5) DUAL-MEDIA SOFTWARE. You may receive the SOFTWARE PRODUCT in more than one medium. Regardless of the type or size of the medium you receive, you may use only that one medium that is appropriate for your single computer. You may not use or install the other medium on another computer, including but not limited to portable computers under the exclusive control of the registered end-user.  You may not loan, rent, lease, or otherwise transfer the other medium to another user, except as part of the permanent transfer (as provided above) of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

6) MISCELLANEOUS
If you acquired or use this SOFTWARE PRODUCT in the United States, this EULA is governed by the laws of the State of California.  If this SOFTWARE PRODUCT was acquired and is used exclusively outside of the United States, then local law may also apply. 7) LIMITED WARRANTY
* LIMITED WARRANTY. InterVideo warrants that (a) the SOFTWARE PRODUCT will, for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of your receipt, perform substantially in accordance with InterVideo's written materials accompanying it, and (b) any Support Services provided by InterVideo shall be substantially as described in applicable written materials provided to you by InterVideo, and (c) InterVideo support engineers will make commercially reasonable efforts to solve any problem issues with the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. To the extent that implied warranties on the SOFTWARE PRODUCT are disclaimable, they are disclaimed herein below.  Some states and jurisdictions do not allow disclaimers of or limitations on the duration of an implied warranty, so the above limitation may not apply to you. To the extent implied warranties may not be entirely disclaimed but implied warranty limitations are allowed by applicable law, implied warranties on the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, if any, are limited to ninety (90) days.
* CUSTOMER REMEDIES. InterVideo's and its suppliers' entire liability and your exclusive remedy shall be repair or replacement of the component(s) of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT that do(es) not meet InterVideo's Limited Warranty and which is returned to InterVideo with a copy of your purchase receipt. This Limited Warranty is void if failure of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT has resulted from accident, abuse, or misapplication. Any replacement SOFTWARE PRODUCT will be warranted for the remainder, of the original warranty period or thirty (30) days, whichever is longer. Outside of the United States, neither of these remedies nor any product support services offered by InterVideo are available without proof of purchase from an InterVideo authorized international source.
* NO OTHER WARRANTIES TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, INTERVIDEO AND ITS SUPPLIERS DISCLAIM ALL, OTHER WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, WITH REGARD TO THE SOFTWARE PRODUCT AND THE PROVISION OF OR FAILURE TO PROVIDE SUPPORT SERVICES. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS. YOU MAY HAVE OTHERS, WHICH VARY FROM STATE/JURISDICTION TO STATE/JURISDICTION.

8) LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL INTERVIDEO OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF BUSINESS INFORMATION, OR ANY OTHER PECUNIARY LOSS) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE PRODUCT OR THE PROVISION OF OR FAILURE TO PROVIDE SUPPORT SERVICES, EVEN IF INTERVIDEO HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN ANY CASE, INTERVIDEO'S ENTIRE LIABILITY UNDER ANY PROVISION OF THIS EULA SHALL BE LIMITED TO TEN UNITED STATES DOLLARS (U.S. $10.00); PROVIDED, HOWEVER, IF YOU HAVE ENTERED INTO A INTERVIDEO SUPPORT SERVICES AGREEMENT, INTERVIDEO'S ENTIRE LIABILITY REGARDING SUPPORT SERVICES SHALL, BE GOVERNED BY THE TERMS OF THAT AGREEMENT. BECAUSE SOME STATES AND JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY, THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

9). Permission to Utilize
9.1 Permission to utilize Your data. There are technological measures in the SOFTWARE PRODUCT that are designed to prevent unlicensed or illegal use of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. InterVideo may use those measures to confirm you have a legally licensed copy of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. If you are not using a licensed copy of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, you are not allowed to install the SOFTWARE PRODUCT or future SOFTWARE PRODUCT updates. In order to receive the benefits provided by the InterVideo SOFTWARE PRODUCT, you hereby grant permission for InterVideo to collect any personally identifiable information from your workstation computer during installation process, including but not limited to PC and certain bundled software identifiable information, or utilize certain identification provided by you from time to time, or stored on the computer containing information about you. Message by way of such identification can enable us to track and target the interests of you to further enhance the experience on our site. Rejecting such manner may limit your use to some or all areas of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. 
9.2 Protection of Your computer or information. You understand that the SOFTWARE PRODUCT will use its commercially reasonable efforts to protect the privacy and integrity of Your computer resources and Your communication, however, You acknowledge and agree that InterVideo cannot give any warranties in this respect. The ¡§Privacy Policy¡¨ that is published on the InterVideo Website applies to the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, use of Your personal data, the traffic data as well as the content contained in Your communication(s). {website: http://www.intervideo.com/jsp/Policy.jsp }

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
