Standard Microsystems Corporation SMC8022T EZ PCMCIA 10Base-T Adapter SMC8022BT EZ PCMCIA Combo Adapter Driver Support Overview ======================= (1) To install the DOS/ODI driver you can use the \INSTALL.BAT program. This program copies the DOS/ODI driver files to the C:\NWCLIENT directory on the hard disk. A STARTNET.BAT file is also created. You can use this batch file to logon to a Novell Netware server from your workstation. (2) For most network operating systems, each system has its own driver installation procedure. During installation the system will ask you to specify the location of the driver files. For the names of the directories on this disk that contain the drivers for the supported operating systems, please refer to the RELEASE.TXT file. For example, for the Windows 95 system, when the system detects the new hardware, it asks you to specify the location of the driver files. If you insert this driver release disk in drive A:, enter "A:\" in the text box. Windows 95 then searches for all the required files and installs the driver automatically. Under each directory there is a README.TXT file. This file provides more detailed installation information for the respective operating system. (3) Under Microsoft DOS, if you use EMM386.EXE in CONFIG.SYS, please exclude a range of memory from your system. This space is needed by the PCMCIA software to read the information stored on SMC EZ PCMCIA ADAPTER . Example: DEVICE=EMM386.EXE NOEMS X=D000-DFFF This statement reserves 64K bytes of memory for the PCMCIA software.Download Driver Pack
