YAMAHA AC-XG Driver including Midi XG Synthesizer for Windows XP SP1, SP2 and SP3

includes updates to work on the Packard-Bell Le Div@ system.

This is the generic AC-XG driver set version 2152.

It has been adapted by me to support Windows XP SP1 and up on the 2001 Packard-Bell Le Div@
system, a lovely integrated set: 15"TFT with built-in 650Mhz or 800Mhz PIII, 12-20GB 2,5"disk
and the AC-XG sound chipset.

This driver includes the complete XG Synthesizer, and hence gives excellent Midi
output, similar to the DS-XG card, the S-YXG50 Softsynth and the and DB50-XG
soundcards.

The default 2MB XG wavetable is included, plus the yacxg.sys miniport which is missing from
some distro's.

I am still trying to get the advanced 4MB XG wavetable from the S-YXG100 working..
It works but gives 'half speed' sound.

To get it working under your system if you get the 'drive not installed' message:
take your old distribution from your specific PC / laptop, dig up the device ID's from the INF file,
and copy these to the YACXG.INF file, you will see where it needs to go.

The format should be

%*WDM_YAMAHAAC97.DeviceDesc%=WDM_YAMAHAAC97, pci\ven_8086&dev_2415

For the Le Div@ I have added all the lines from the older WinME version:

%*WDM_YAMAHAAC97.DeviceDesc%=WDM_YAMAHAAC97, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2415&SUBSYS_80D91033&REV_02
%*WDM_YAMAHAAC97.DeviceDesc%=WDM_YAMAHAAC97, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2415&SUBSYS_80D91033
%*WDM_YAMAHAAC97.DeviceDesc%=WDM_YAMAHAAC97, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2415&REV_02&CC_0401
%*WDM_YAMAHAAC97.DeviceDesc%=WDM_YAMAHAAC97, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2415&SUBSYS_80D91033&REV_02
%*WDM_YAMAHAAC97.DeviceDesc%=WDM_YAMAHAAC97, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2415&SUBSYS_80D91033
%*WDM_YAMAHAAC97.DeviceDesc%=WDM_YAMAHAAC97, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2415&REV_02&CC_0401
%*WDM_YAMAHAAC97.DeviceDesc%=WDM_YAMAHAAC97, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2415&CC_040100
%*WDM_YAMAHAAC97.DeviceDesc%=WDM_YAMAHAAC97, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2415&CC_0401

Tested under Windows XP SP1, SP2 ánd - yes- SP3 working perfectly.

Cheers,
Michel
