NetWare Remote BootRom Installation =================================== Installation Procedure: ----------------------- The following example is excuted on Protocol Ethernet_802.2 and the server driver is MX32SODI.LAN. Step 1: In server, type the following commands, :Load rpl frame=ethernet_802.2 :bind rpl to MX32SODI Step 2: In client (workstation), prepare a DOS formatted and bootable diskette containing the following command files: LSL.COM, MX32MLID.EXE, IPXODI.COM, NETX.EXE. Besides, create an AUTOEXEC.BAT file with the following command lines: lsl mx32mlid ipxodi netx f: login Step 3: Also, in client, login to the server. (By executing LSL, a LAN driver, IPXODI, NETX command files). Then, type the following commands: F:>cd\system F:SYSTEM>dosgen F:SYSTEM>copy net$dos.sys f:\login F:SYSTEM>logout Step 4: Power Off PC and remove the Drive A from system then Power On Again. It will connect to Server by using Diskless way. Install Bootconf.sys -------------------- 1. Rename the Net$dos.sys as the you want PRO120A.sys 2. Create Bootconf.sys file in sys:\login directory if you have multiple boot images. The Bootconf.sys file format is as below: Node ID Number = Boot images files Example: Sigle Boot Images 0x0080AD000001 = ne2000.sys 0x0080AD000002 = PRO120A.sys Example: Multiple Boot Images 0x0080AD000001 = ne2000.sys PRO120A.sys 0x*,* = ne2000.sys MXIC.sys (All the node)Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
