How to update TFM-560PCI modem driver in Win XP. (11-1-2001) Note: The update driver is for TFM-560PCI modem only. 1. right click on "my computer", select "Properties". If you don't see "My Computer" on the desktop, point the mouse at the "Startup Menu" bar at the bottom of the screen, right click on the mouse, select "properties", select "start menu", and then select "classic start menu". 2. At System Properties, select "Hardware" tab. 3. click on "device manager". 4. click on the + on the left of the "Modem" to reveal the installed modem. 5. double click on the "Best data" modem. 6. click on "Driver" tab. 7. click on "update driver...". 8. select "Install from a list or specific location (advanced) and click "next". 9. select "don't search, I will choose the driver to install" and click "Next". 10. click on "have disk". 11. Type in the correct path of the driver (i.e. C:\TFM560PCI) and then click "ok". 12. select Conexant SoftK56 data, fax, speakerphone PCI modem and click Next>. 13. click on "Continue anyway" and wait for the installation process to complete. 14. click "finish".Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
