-------------
KNOWN ISSUES
-------------

1. ASUS Security Protect Manager Publisher is shown as "Not verified" in Internet Explorer Manage Add-ons dialog box.
The ASUS Security Protect Manager add-on is shown as "Not verified" in the Manage Add-ons dialog box in the Microsoft Internet Explorer.

2. Attempt to logon with ASUS Security Protect Manager after Standby/Hibernation can leave you at the Windows logon screen when using friendly logon interface with Windows XP SP1.
The problem was confirmed by Microsoft for Windows XP SP1. Refer to Microsoft Knowledge Base article 813301 for more information. The issue has been fixed in Windows XP SP2. It is recommended to install Windows XP SP2.

3. Some smart card and USB token drivers may have conflicts with drivers of other smart card and USB token manufacturers.
ActivKey USB Token driver may cause General Protection Fault if installed on a same computer where Rainbow iKey USB token driver is installed.

4. ASUS Security Protect Manager fails to access the TPM (and subsequently user identity) after the TPM was reset to factory settings or replaced.
The ASUS Security Protect Manager cannot access the TPM if the TPM was reset to factory settings or replaced after the ASUS Security Protect Manager installation.
Workaround:
- Backup the user identity before replacing or resetting the TPM
- Enable and initialize the TPM
- Restore the user identity

5. eToken RTE 3.5x may cause an exception when you shutdown a computer.
eToken Run Time Engine ver 3.5x by Aladdin may cause an exception in smart card service, when computer is restarting or shutting down. To avoid the "blue screen" during shutdown, do not click OK button in the error message box. In the future, check for RTE updates from Aladdin.

6. Different models of AuthenTec sensor based fingerprint readers may not be compatible between each other.
If you register your fingerprint using one model of AuthenTec sensor based fingerprint reader, for example, touch-style reader, you may not be able to successfully authenticate your fingerprint using a different model, for example, swipe-style reader. To avoid this problem either use the same model of the fingerprint reader if you need to replace the device or repeat fingerprint registration if a different model of fingerprint reader was chosen for the replacement.
