Driver Sequence for the Digital Origin 1394 Firewire card. 1. Unzip the files in a tempoary directory (windows\temp). 2. Run the DriverUpdate5_00 file. 3. Power the computer off. 4. Install the Digital Orign Firewire card in an empty PCI slot. 5. Reboot the computer. When the New Hardware Found Wizard finds the card, choose the Advanced option for locating the drivers. 6. Browse to the tempory file where the Digital_Origin_1394 drivers are stored and press Enter. 7. As the drivers are being loaded, a screen stating the drivers are not Digitally Signed may appear. Click the Continue option. 8. The drivers will continue to load normally and the Driver Update will be found automatically. 9. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
