ReadMe.txt Driver File Contents (QV2000XP.zip)

Windows XP Professional will not correctly install the Compaq QVison 2000+ PCI display adaptor.

A work around is to use the display.inf from Windows 2000 Professional and the mga.sys and mga.dll from Windows XP Professional.

To install,

1. Select update driver for the display adaptor, and in the Hardware Update Wizard,
select "Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)"

2. Then select "Don't search I will choose the driver to install"

3. Click "Have Disk" and point it to where you placed the files.

4. Select display.inf and it you are prompted for the location of the mga files, point to the same location.

5. If presented with a list of display adaptors, select "Compaq QVision 2000+ PCI"
