HP CD-WRITER 9900j or 9900ci
Driver version: cdralw2k.sys 1.00(1037) cdr4_2k.sys 2.5(094)

To make these work for you all you need to do is copy them into the drivers folder where your others drivers already are placed. On my system the path is as follows:

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS

This should make the hp cd-writer 9900j or 9900ci work properly. Be sure to reboot after replacing the old files to assure best results.

These are the updated versions that work for windows xp. If you noticed after upgrading or doing a full install of windows xp that you get that error message on start-up about windows disabling drivers due to possibly causing system to become unstable then you might wish to try these.

No promises, but they worked perfectly for me.
