PCI Ethernet Card Configuration and Diagnostics file V2.00
----------------------------------------------------------

Your PCI Ethernet Card is automatically configured when you power-up your
computer. In certain computers, however, you must modify your BIOS by entering
your CMOS SETUP utility.

To view the configuration parameters assigned by the BIOS, insert the software
diskette into your drive and execute the utility software,EZRTS.A screen menu
will guide you to configure the PCI Ethernet Card to fit your computer system's
environment.

The following is the configuration parameters.

   BOOT ROM : DISABLE, ENABLE

Note: You can use this utility to configure two or more PCI Ethernet Cards
which are installed on the same computer system.

Before you install the drivers and connect the PCI Ethernet Card to the network
, make sure to run the diagnostics to assure the proper function of the adapter.
The diagnostics includes two groups of test :

   1. Card initialization and test
This test is a series of tests designed to check Network Controller
Registers, on-board RAM, Internal Lookback and Interrupt Generation.

   2. Advanced Network test
This test verifies that the network cable is connected, so that the
adapter can transmit and receive data.

The test requires two computers. One computer, configured as the Master,
generates and sends test messages. The other computer, configured as the
Slave, receives messages and transmits them back to the Master. Results
can be viewed on both the Master and Slave computers. A screen menu
provides you with the instructions to conduct this test.

Note: Run the Card Initialization and test before running the Advanced
Network Test to ensure that adapter's basic functions are working
	    properly.

   3. Power Management Test
This test verifies that the network NIC can be used on a PC system
      which supports Remote Wake-Up connector.

The test requires two computers. One computer, configured as the Master,
generates and sends Wake up Frame & Magic Packet test messages. The other
computer, configured as the Slave, receives messages and implement the wake
up event. Results can be viewed on both the Master and Slave computers.
A screen menu provides you with the instructions to conduct this test.

Be sure to fill in the corresponding Slave's MAC address on the Master
test site, then makes the Slave station into standby mode. Turn off power
after the register test all passed, the Slave station will be wak up
once receiving the Magic Packet from Master.

Note: Run the Card Initialization and test before running the Power
Management Test to ensure that adapter's Remote Wake-Up functions
	    are working properly.

	  * The Wake Frame test could only provides test with Remote Register
verification, no wake up event will be taken.
